I used ZBC to prep my home for sale. Joe expediently responded to my request for an estimate and gave me a fair quote on the work I wanted done. He and his team worked efficiently and did an excellent job. They painted the entire house, Replaced exterior posts, Installed trim/molding and replaced carpeting. Once my home was on the market I received over 50 showings and 10 offers. I would highly recommend this business.

Joe is very responsive and gives his home restoration projects his all and is willing to get in there to do the hard, dirty jobs that sometime come up, that alot of other contractors would not be skilled at. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to these old Philly row homes and how to bring them back to life again. He and his crew Charles, Chuck and the rest of them are super nice and pleasure to have work in your home or investment property.

I would like to share my experience with Joseph. What a refreshing change of pace,the world needs more people like this. I messaged him about some truck parts he had for sale$300. I offered him $200 which was all I could afford. When I told him this,I think he could sense I needed help.He said I’d like to help you out if that’s all you can afford. He said”You can have them for free,just come pick them up” What a great guy!

I had such a warming and genuine experience with Joe and his team from ZBC General Contracting. Even though I met them through an unexpected situation—they helped me change my tire—they went above and beyond with kindness and patience. Not only did they fix the issue, but they also took the time to teach me how to change a tire myself, which was such a valuable lesson. It’s rare to come across people who are this genuine and caring, and it reminded me that there are still truly good humans in this world. I’m extremely grateful and will definitely be reaching out to Joe for future house projects. Highly recommend!

Joe and his crew did a great job repairing the masonry between my garage doors. This was a job that required a few different sets of disciplines and experience. There was structural damage to the cinderblocks and on top of fixing that they also repaired rotting wood, capping and trim that was wearing out. The result is a much better functioning set of entryways and properly sealed to boot. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any kind of work on a house.

These guys are great. Joe is extremely meticulous and fair and he is very passionate about his customers and what’s best for them. They showed up everyday until my job was done and did a phenomenal job. They organized my material and built shelves in my warehouse so that my employees will actually use up material from our shop now.

Joe helped me last minute in the last very large snow storm to provide snow removal for my 70 year old parents! He was professional, communicative, and above all, the work was phenomenal. I could not recommend ZBC contracting enough!

Snow removal is no joke and not for those who aren't in tip top shape, it is dangerous! I am absolutely unable to shovel more than an inch or two and storm Fern left me unable to open my front door. The wind had blown the snow up against the door and it was more than 9 inches deep. It was thick, wet, and super heavy. I called Joe/ZBC and told him no rush as I had no place to go but needed to get food and supplies delivered in a few days. They came VERY quickly the same day and dug me out. I had a clear, safe path to my car AND he plowed away the huge wall of snow the city put in front of my car. It's been more than a week since the storm and there is still snow in the street and the only clean piece of pavement I see is my front walk. I can get out, supplies can get in, and I do not feel trapped. They were professional, reasonably priced, quick to arrive, and thorough. I definitely recommend ZBC for snow removal. Thank you, Joe!

The owner Joe is amazing! We were first introduced after my backpack was stolen out of my vehicle and Joe found it on the side of the road. He put a lot of effort into getting it back to me. I decided due to his honesty to try using ZBC for Contracting. All I can say is you will not be disappointed. Everything he does is precise and professional. This guy is an amazing contractor an even a better human being.
